Jack Lindsay letter

Jack Lindsay of the Fanfrolico Press published The Mimiambs of Herondas illustrated by Alan in 1929. In this letter of 1930 he is being enthusiastic about the Bazac drawings but by this time I think they were out of business, so I assume he was trying to place the drawings with some other publisher. Nothing came of it of course, with all publishers at this time feeling the impact of the Wall Street Crash.

Dear Alan Odle,
Thanks very much for your letter which gave me great pleasure to read... It is very good of you to grant us a period of 3 months in which to pick up and find the new instrument  for the production of Contes Drolatiques.I have every hope that we will have got something moving by then.
Elza sends her thanks for your remembering the moonstones.By next year we should manage to have some hole in London as well as here, and we look forward to meeting you and your wife then.
I shall get straightaway into touch with Panton about those drawings.
Is your Cornwall address still the same? in case I want to write to you as things move.

                                               yours sincerely
